Sharon is the heartbeat of C L Salon 名髮廊. Born from a life dedicated to the craft, she brought over 40 years of Hong Kong and Malaysian hair artistry to the heart of Birmingham's Chinatown — and changed what a salon could mean for women in this city.

Her mission was never just about beautiful hair. It was about belonging. Sharon noticed a gap — Hijabi women, Asian women, women of every background — who wanted world-class hair care but found no Muslim-friendly, ladies-only salon in Birmingham city centre that truly welcomed them. So she built one.

Sharon's training spans decades across Hong Kong and Malaysia — the epicentres of Asian hair technique. She didn't learn about Asian hair styling from a textbook. She trained in the salons that pioneered the methods.
